Flyers indicate scenes will be filmed for season 4 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on the Upper West Side on Wednesday, March 10. (Thanks to Steven Stark for the tip). The flyers give a time frame of 6am – 9pm, and state the film crew will need to hold parking in advance at the following locations:
- The east side of Broadway between 84th and 79th Streets
- The north side of 83rd Street between West End and Amsterdam Avenues
- The south side of 82nd Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenues
The flyer also states that once the film crew has finished parking, any unused spaces will be “released back to the public.”
And that “in the event that your car is relocated, call 311 and they will tell you where your car can be found” …
Production for season 4 was originally scheduled to begin in late spring – early summer 2020, but faced delays due to COVID-19. It finally began in January 2021 in NYC.
While filming was delayed, a lengthy pre-production process involved the creation of new sets and costumes.

According to Deadline, the entire regular cast will return, but the creators of the show will be relying less on extras due to concerns over safety amid the pandemic.
While an exact air date has not yet been announced, Good Housekeeping points out that “If the past two seasons are any indication though, the next installment may premiere in December 2021.”
