The JCC is your one-stop shop for tween activities this fall! From community service opportunities to weekend fun, the JCC provides a dynamic, safe, and enriching environment for your tween to flourish.
Tweens can spend their Saturday nights at the JCC! Each themed Tweens After Dark event features engaging activities designed just for them. It’s a great opportunity to have fun, build community, and give back. Dinner is provided at each session.
The next Tweens After Dark session will take place on Saturday, October 15. The evening will begin with a TikTok-themed spin class. Then, tweens will work together to cook and enjoy a creative dinner, and finish the evening with a service project.
Does your tween want to make a difference in your community? They can join fellow tweens at Mitzvah Mondays for hands-on community service opportunities and Jewish service learning with different projects each month. Mitzvah Mondays sessions are available á la carte as well as in a discounted semester bundle.
The next Mitzvah Mondays session will take place on Monday, October 24, and will feature a sandwich-making and Ziploc-decorating competition in support of our food-insecure neighbors in need. Dan Zauderer, co-founder and executive director of Mott Haven Fridge Network, will speak about food insecurity and discuss how tweens can make an impact.
Not available on either of those days? There will be plenty more opportunities throughout the fall and winter for your tween to connect at the JCC. For more information, visit mmjccm.org/tweens, or email Julie Singer, tween coordinator, at jsinger@mmjccm.org
