Unique Holiday Shopping on The Upper West Side
The Columbus Circle Holiday Market H
ow about a different way to do your holiday shopping this year? If you’re interested in handmade items or unusual gifts, head over to the Columbus Circle Holiday Market. This upbeat, outdoor, shopping experience has a true neighborhood-feel and is a welcome change from the mall. And with more than 120 vendors and a plethora of delicious places to eat, the variety is just as good. Stop by the apple cider cart to warm up and Wafles and Dinges for a delightful sweet treat!
If you’re familiar with the Union Square Holiday Market, The Columbus Circle Holiday Market has a similar feel, although perhaps a bit more upscale. Both markets are operated by the same company, Urban Space.

The Columbus Circle Holiday Market, now in its ninth season, is a perfect place to look for handmade goods for a friend, mom, or perhaps for yourself, such as jewelry, soaps, scarves, and hats. You will find many gifts for the home decorator, such as photographs and kitchen items. If you’re shopping for little ones, there is the L’il New Yorker booth, which sells adorable clothes and other unique gifts for babies and children from five different designers. You can also find plenty of gifts that are more specifically for Christmas as well, such as ornaments and gingerbread house kits.
So enjoy this time of year, and happy shopping!
