The first incident took place on January 7 at about 8:55 p.m., when police got a call about a man who had entered the store and “removed body wash and diapers.” That man, 44-year-old Ronsheen Newell, was arrested just minutes later at 9:03 p.m., according to NYPD officials. Newell was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.

On Saturday, January 20 at about 2 p.m., two suspects (both currently at large) walked in and stole $841 worth of makeup and shampoo, placing them into a bag before leaving.

And on Sunday, January 21 at about 5:49 p.m., police got a call about a man who came into the store and “removed socks.” That man, 55-year-old David Losey, was arrested at 6:00 p.m. on charges of Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and Criminal Impersonation (per Patch’s report, he gave the police a fake name and false date of birth). Patch also notes that the value of the socks was $32, and that he concealed them in his pants. Public records indicate that Losey was also arrested on June 15, 2023 on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (Crack), and on December 25, 2022 on charges of Identity Theft, Grand Larceny (stealing a credit card) and Petit Larceny.
