Last modified on February 10th, 2020

One of the best parts of a happy hour special is that you can be adventurous without spending too much. Luckily for you, we’ve updated this list to guide you towards the very best Upper West Side happy hours!

The Mermaid Inn

570 Amsterdam Ave

A good happy hour is one thing, but a daily happy hour is a whole separate ball game. You can enjoy happy hour at The Mermaid Inn every day from 5-7pm.  Feast on $1.25 oysters, select $6 beers, $8.50 wines, and $8.50 cocktails. And if you’re going in the spring or summer when the weather is warm, you can sit outside and soak up the beauty of the neighborhood.

The Mermaid Inn

This lively Upper West Side bar offers a daily happy hour from 4:30-7pm. Well drinks, frozen margaritas, frozen specialty drinks, and wine all go for $7 and beers go for $6. And if you’re enjoying a drink with friends before you head somewhere for dinner, they offer their delicious jumbo pretzel and mini cheeseburgers for just $10. Prohibition also offers live music nightly, featuring great cover bands, a packed dance floor, and a notable singles scene.

Crave Fishbar

428 Amsterdam Ave

This well-known oyster bar stands out as one of Manhattan’s best $1 oyster happy hours. Oysters on the menu go for just $1-1.50 each as part of their #oystergram. You can enjoy happy hour daily, running from 5-7pm during the week and 4-6pm on the weekend. Crave serves $9 margaritas, big bens, and peach tea sangria. On top of that, you can get a $10 Moscow mule and $11 Sunset spritz.

Share a dozen oysters with friends (or possibly a date), and definitely upgrade to a spicy margarita for just $1 more. And if you’re feeling extra fun, go for one of Crave’s outstanding oyster shooters. It’s the absolute perfect combo. You’re welcome in advance.
