The victim was a 55-year-old man who Zinberg slashed in the face at about 10:21 a.m. on Wednesday near 114 West 86th Street. It was unclear what led to the violent confrontation, but the victim was walking with two other men and several witnesses hear the suspect shouting before the attack.
