A virtual discussion on the rollout of a COVID-19 vaccine and obtaining herd immunity in NYC will take place on Monday, December 21 at 6:30pm. Panelists will Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer and a number of doctors and professors from Columbia University.
A communications representative from Columbia University tells us the panel will be addressing questions about the vaccine, dispelling misinformation, discussing timelines, rollout and its overall importance.
The town hall style discussion will be co-hosted by Community Board 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Columbia University, Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Ryan Health.
