Acker Wines, America’s oldest wine shop and the world’s largest wine auction house, will be hosting digital “BYOB” virtual wine tastings on Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the month of April.
Consumers are invited to join Acker’s Chairman, John Kapon for 20-30 minute sessions each night. He’ll be exploring everything from “Austria’s Great Grape” to “Sauvignon Blanc Around the World.”
The next virtual tasting will be on Monday, April 6th. John Kapon will open up one of his favorite value wines, Gruner Veltliner. Bring a Gruner (or whatever you want) and join on Zoom or Instagram Live.
Then on Wednesday, April 8th, Kapon and crew will be drinking a 2000 Bordeaux, Gruaud Larose, Leoville Barton and Chateau Clinet. Here’s the Zoom link for April 8th.
