The popular West Side County Fair — an annual event held at Pier I at 70th Street — is taking place on Sunday, September 4 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m (the rain date is September 18). The free and family-friendly day is part of Summer on the Hudson, a May-to-September series of fun activities in Riverside Park.
The outdoor extravaganza will include live magic, music, carnival rides and games, a popup playground, food from local vendors and more.
For those of you who’ve failed to squash our most recent invasive insects, there will also be a lanternfly trap building workshop taking place on the pier between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. “Materials, tools and instruction will be provided on site,” states event page. Learn more and register here.
