At the beginning of 2022, Wilson Sporting Goods opened its NYC flagship store at 594 Broadway in SoHo. In May, the retailer expanded with a store on the Upper East Side, and now, it’s opened up shop in Columbus Circle.
Located at The Shops at Columbus Circle, the two-story store offers “an assortment of best-in-class equipment across a variety of sport categories including the official basketballs of the NBA, WNBA and NCAA, the Duke – the official ball of the NFL, A2000 baseball gloves, leading tennis rackets like the Pro Staff and Clash, D9 Irons and more. The store also houses Wilson Sportswear, the brand’s athletic-lifestyle apparel collection, available for both men and women.”
Wilson Sporting Goods’ first retail store opened in July 2021 in Chicago — “Just a few months after the company revealed plans for a more direct-to-consumer strategy,” reports retaildive.com — making this its fourth retail location. A press release from January states that “Wilson will continue its direct-to-consumer expansion opening stores in Los Angeles and Shanghai in the coming year.”
The new store is currently open Monday — Saturday from 10 a.m. — 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. — 7 p.m.
