Appointments can be made from up to 45 minute in advance to as much as two weeks ahead of time. ZiphyCare’s onsite care coordinator will arrive with their patented medical toolbox, connect remotely with one of their physicians (all board certified, highly experienced doctors), and from then on will serve as an extension of the doctor’s arm.
The doctor will then conduct the examination remotely on-screen as the care coordinator utilizes special examination tools to: listen to your lungs and heart, look at your EKG, examine your ears, throat, and skin — just as they would in a regular medical office or hospital. The doctor can then provide a diagnosis, call in a prescription, answer questions and more.
Ziphycare is closely monitoring an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by COVID-19. This disease entity presents with specific signs and symptoms. Since testing is not recommended for everyone, most patients can be diagnosed by history and physical exam alone.
