The 2020 edition of the public advocate’s annual list of NYC’s worst landlords includes six who operate buildings on the Upper West Side.
Between the six landlords, nine buildings are on the official watchlist.
The list from 1-100 begins with the landlords with the most violations, so the rankings below indicate where each landlord falls out of 100.
The number of violations listed were issued by NYC’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD).

Interesting you are not including buildings of Brodsky where tenants are afraid to complain.
I live in the apartment below that of Mark Scharfman’s son. His parents lived there for years…they were a problem. The son is nice, but I have suffered repeated damage ….broken pipes, leaks, etc. I met him when he formerly owned the building. Not a nice person…the building continually fought him till he sold out.
Columbus Townhouse 600 Columbus Avenue who is Managed by ELH Management needs to be included in the worst Landlords in the upper west side this building just had a Electrical Fire and alot of Violations and tenants are afraid to complain and report the problems due to retaliation from Management
